Courtney Thompson, LICSW-S
Executive Director
Courtney has been employed by the CAC since May 2014. She is responsible for the general operation of the Center. She implements policies set forth by the Board of Directors. She assists the Board of Directors with fundraising, budget preparation, and long range planning. She maintains community relations on the behalf of the Center. Courtney is also trained to conduct Forensic Interviews and Extended Forensic Interviews.
Valerie Clemons, BS
Family Advocate
Valerie Clemons has been employed at the CAC since October 2021 and is a part time employee. Valerie is responsible for the coordination of case management. She schedules interviews, therapy appointments, medical appointments, and team meetings. She is responsible for client intake and gathers statistical information for reports, as well as providing advocacy and support to victim’s families.


Alexis Summers, LMSW
Lead Forensic Interviewer/ Child Therapist
Alexis has been employed by the CAC since May 2022 and is a full time employee. Alexis is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR). She is responsible for providing therapy for child victims of abuse as well as conducts interviews. She maintains written records as to the progress of clients and provides information vital for the investigation and prosecution.
Lindsey Graham, LMSW
Child Therapist/Forensic Interviewer
Lindsey has been employed full time by the CAC since May 2023. Lindsey is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). She responsible for providing therapy for the child victims of abuse as well as conducts interviews. She maintains written records as to the progress of clients and provides information vital for the investigation and prosecution.


Claire Harbison, LICSW-S
Child Therapist/Forensic Interviewer
Claire Harbison has been employed by the CAC since January 2016 and currently works part-time. Claire is trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR). She is responsible for providing therapy for the child victims of abuse as well as conducts interviews. She maintains written records as to the progress of clients and provides information vital for the investigation and prosecution.
Melody McCranie, M.A. Elm. Ed.
Education Coordinator
Melody has been an employee of the CAC since September 2023. Melody is responsible for implementing the school-based child abuse prevention (SCAN) program. She is also responsible for consulting with each school’s guidance counselor to meet their requirements for Erin’s Law, answer questions, and schedule presentations for the year.
